CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) — The Carson City Elks Lodge is hosting a free public event Saturday, June 27 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 515 N. Nevada St.
The event will extend into Nevada Street between Robinson and Spear streets and into the parking lot across the street from the lodge.
The event will open with a flag ceremony and color guard tribute before transitioning into a block party format.
