The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a Bronx robbery pattern identified across the 46th and 52nd Precincts.
Police said the first incident took place in the 46th Precinct on Sunday, May 31 in Fordham Heights. They said that at around 11.10 p.m., a 34-year-old woman and a 57-year-old woman were in the vicinity of East 184th Street and Valentine Avenue when an unidentified person approached them. They said the suspect displayed a knife, demanded some of their belongings, and attempted to steal the women’s necklaces. “The individual removed a necklace from the 34-year-old, valued at approximately $2,000, and fled the location on a blue moped, traveling eastbound on 184 Street,” a police spokesperson said. “The victims sustained minor injuries and were not hospitalized.”
Police said the second incident took place in the 52nd Precinct on Tuesday, June 9 in Norwood. They said that at around 7.40 a.m., a 40-year-old woman was at 3450 Gates Place when an unidentified person approached her. They said the suspect displayed a knife, demanded her belongings, and stole her necklace, valued at around $2,000. They said the suspect then fled the location on a blue moped, traveling eastbound on Gun Hill Road. “The victim sustained minor injuries and was not hospitalized,” a police spokesperson said…
