Neptune Sushi to Replace Tajima in North Park

Neptune Sushi, a new sushi restaurant, is getting ready to open in San Diego at 3015 Adams Avenue.

The company’s new location is set to move into the former home of Tajima North Park, which closed after nearly 10 years of serving the neighborhood. Owner Dillon Berkabile tells What Now San Diego the restaurant is expected to open in about two months. Customers can expect a menu centered on modern sushi and hand rolls, drawing inspiration from the flavors of Asia and Latin America.

Neptune is owned by Berkabile, Michael Harrison, and Justice Horden, with Executive Chef Taylor Preus leading the culinary program. Although the concept was originally envisioned as a modern temaki-style hand roll bar, the team says it has evolved into something much broader.
