NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Two of the men responsible for the November 2024 French Quarter quadruple shooting were each sentenced to 45 years in prison, the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office announced Friday.
During the trial, both defendants, Darrell Adams and Nicholas Miorana, pled guilty to the following convictions:
- Darrell Adams
- One (1) count of manslaughter
- One (1) count of obstruction of justice
- Three (3) counts of attempted second-degree murder
- Nicolas Miorana
- One (1) count of manslaughter
- One (1) count of obstruction of jsutice
- One (1) count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Three (3) counts of attempted second-degree murder
These convictions stemmed from a mass shooting that occurred in the 700 block of Iberville Street on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024.
According to evidence presented in court, it showed that Miorana drove armed accomplices to the area moments before Nicholas and Daniel Miorana and Adams exited the vehicle and fired over 20 shots in multiple directions…
