EUGENE, Ore– Lebanon High School graduate Cabe Weber has always had to prove the doubters wrong. During his first three years in Track & Field for the Warriors, Weber struggled to find his place on the podium of the OSAA State Championships.
Yet during his failures he never gave, always working towards the goal of one day being a state champion. In his final season, his hard work would pay off.
During the 2026 OSAA State Championships in May, Weber would take 1st place in the boys 400m event, finishing the race in 48.84 seconds. One month later he would head back to Hayward Field where he would finish in 3rd place in the Boys 400m Emerging Elite competition at the Nike Outdoor Championships…
