Charlotte’s trash day rules may not sound like headline news until the cart is still sitting full at the curb, the recycling gets rejected, or a bulky item is left behind because it was never scheduled.
The City of Charlotte is reminding residents that Solid Waste Services handles four core curbside services: garbage, recycling, yard waste, and bulky waste collection. The city says the service supports more than 897,000 residents, which means even small mistakes at the curb can create big problems across neighborhoods.
