A 78-year-old bicyclist has died after an SUV turned into his path in Berks County, the coroner announced on Saturday, June 27.
John Barton Renninger, of the first block of East Summit Street in Mohnton Borough, was riding his bicycle eastbound on Revere Boulevard (Route 724) in Spring Township shortly before 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 26, when a westbound SUV attempted to make a left turn onto Cloister Court and struck him, Berks County Coroner Matthew J. Stitzel said.
