San Diego ramps up fight against illegal cannabis delivery

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The city of San Diego is ramping up efforts to stop illegal cannabis delivery services that hurt legal operators and city tax revenue.

Getting cannabis products delivered is easier than ever, but not every delivery service is operating legally.

“CHP or the sheriff has called us to verify that somebody works for us. Well, a lot of these illegal delivery services they told drivers hey when you’re in San Diego County if you get pulled over just tell them you work for March and Ash,” said Bret Peace, CEO of March and Ash, which has multiple locations across the county.
