SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The SeaWorld Rescue Team responded to La Jolla Cove after a sea lion was spotted with a gaff hook in its side.
La Jolla Cove is known for its sea lion population and is a protected ecological reserve. It is world famous and attracts tourists and even celebrities. But beachgoers at La Jolla Cove this week spotted a sea lion in need of help.
