Pair arrested after mass stolen credit card scheme sees thousands stolen in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Two men were arrested and charged following an investigation into a credit card scheme in Lincoln.

Yordany Cuervo, 39, and Dairo Permuy, 34, are each charged with theft by unlawful taking, $1,500 to$4,999, criminal possession of more than four transaction devices and unauthorized use of a financial transaction device.

On Nov. 7, 2025, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office published a law enforcement bulletin for two men accused of traveling through the Midwest and committing credit card fraud.
