NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — Overnight storms triggered widespread flooding in Nampa, as city crews worked through the night to clear water from roadways.
City of Nampa employees have been out since 9 p.m., with a second crew coming in to take over around 6 a.m. Crews have already pulled 228,000 gallons of water off the roadway, and more work remains.
Residents are asked to report street flooding if water reaches the top of the curb or goes over it by calling the Street Division at (208) 489-6645 and remaining on the line to speak with a representative.
