Three people were shot during a street takeover in Carson overnight, and the gunfire left one man dead, authorities say.
First responders were called out to the area of Charles Willard Street and Harmon Avenue around 3 a.m. Sunday for a report of people who had been shot, according to information from both the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s and Fire departments.
