Single mother of 2 earns home through Habitat for Humanity

NORTH PORT — For Diana Garcia, a single mother of two, her new home courtesy of Habitat for Humanity means “everything.”

On Friday, the Garcia family, Habitat for Humanity volunteers, a new neighbor and others attended an emotional dedication and blessing ceremony of the family’s new home in North Port off of North Salford Boulevard.
