Bears Begin Soil Testing at Wolf Lake Terminals in Hammond
The Chicago Bears have begun soil testing at the Wolf Lake Terminals site in Hammond, Indiana, marking the most significant on-the-ground progress in their search for a new stadium.
Drilling equipment was spotted at the location over the weekend. A Bears spokesperson confirmed Saturday that the rigs are being used for geotechnical testing at the Wolf Lake Terminals property, west of Interstate 90.
