RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Reno Rodeo generates more than $50 million over its 10-day run, according to recent studies cited by the organization.
Economic impact
Reno Rodeo Treasurer Andi Morency said out-of-town visitors are a major driver of that revenue.
“That’s out of town travel so those are dollars that wouldn’t be here in our community otherwise and people are making the trip here solely for the rodeo,” Morency said. “We find that a lot of our guests who are coming from out of town come here, but they also do other things while they’re in Northern Nevada.”
