Girl Scouts of Eastern Pa. celebrate major expansion of mountain camp lounge

Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania celebrated the completion of a major expansion at Camp Mountain House on Sunday, June 14, with a ribbon cutting ceremony introducing the Girl Adventure Place to the community.

The new lodge will expand year-round programming opportunities for girls in Lehigh County at the camp, which sits on South Mountain in Allentown and has served campers for more than 80 years. The facility includes modern bathrooms, enhanced overnight camping amenities, a volunteer training facility and a trading post.
