RALEIGH — The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights has opened an Title IX investigation into Buncombe County Schools.
The investigation by the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) was opened to find out whether Buncombe County Schools violated Title IX by “allowing biological men to access girls’ restrooms.”
According to the department’s press release, the investigation was prompted by a parent who had reported “girls in the District are being forced to share their female-only restrooms with biological men.”…
