A Leesburg woman was arrested after allegedly battering her boyfriend at Circle K over an altercation at a club.
Officers responded to Circle K, located at 900 S 14th St., for a verbal disturbance between 41-year-old Alexis Dominique Hodges and her boyfriend of five years around 12:35 a.m. Monday, June 22, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
The complainant advised that he did not see a physical altercation, but he saw the boyfriend get into a black truck while Hodges entered a white Nissan. Law enforcement found the only black truck matching that description in the area of Canal Street and Dixie Avenue, so they stopped it for an interview, the report said.
While speaking with the boyfriend, the officers noticed he was actively bleeding from his nose and had a two-inch knot on his forehead. He stated he had been battered with a stiletto high heel, but he could not say where it happened.
