Summer heat will arrive in force this week, with temperatures across Massachusetts pushing well into the 90s and nearing 100 degrees in some areas.
The National Weather Service expects temperatures to increase throughout the week, reaching the mid-90s on Wednesday and upper 90s on Thursday and Friday. The Connecticut River Valley and Eastern Massachusetts are most at-risk of triple-digit temperatures, the weather service said.
