Phillips 66 commitment to Riverbend Head Start & Family Services

Phillips 66 Wood River Refinery has committed $30,000 to Riverbend Head Start & Family Services. These funds will support security improvements to the new Head Start location in Granite City. With these upgrades, the new facility is to open on August 19th .

The new facility combines Head Start’s two former Granite City locations into one at Niedringhaus Elementary School. Head Start President and CEO Gene Howell said the funds will go to key fob entry systems and security cameras.

Head Start is planning more renovations to its new location for safer drop-off, dedicated parent parking, staff training, and indoor play areas. Donate to these renovations at the link below…
