BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — BELOW AVERAGE TEMPERATURES CONTINUE
This weekend came in cool and left even cooler across Kern County. Bakersfield’s high on Saturday topped out at 87 degrees. Sunday didn’t make it above 84. Meanwhile, the desert towns experienced even cooler air, with Mojave maxing out at 77 yesterday, while Edwards met 85. The winds were quite strong during the afternoon with winds gusting up to 56 mph at Mojave’s airport with speeds reaching the 30 to 50 mph range across the Kern River Valley.
