Three killed in Madison County flooding identified

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Three people who died from flooding in Madison County were identified by the Madison County coroner.

Coroner Jimmy Cornelison said Garnett Isbell, 73, died when his car was swept away on Tates Creek Road, according to Cornelison.

John Powell, 57, and Patricia Beck, 51, both died in a basement apartment on University Drive. The coroner’s office was searching for Beck’s next of kin, but they have since been located…
