Man arrested after stealing a donation box with $28 inside, Burbank police say

An investigation continued Monday after a man was arrested for stealing a donation box from a Burbank grocery store, according to the Burbank Police Department.

The alleged theft happened at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 22 when the man went into Handy Market on Magnolia Boulevard near Buena Vista Street. Police received a report about the suspect taking the charity donation from the store counter.
