OCPS students achieve improvements in state testing

Orange County Public Schools has seen an increase or remained the same in all reported subject areas and grade levels in state testing from last year.

The district had an increase of three percentage points in mathematics and four percentage points in English Language Arts, according to the results from the 2025-2026 spring assessment administration.

The percentage of OCPS students scoring Level 3 or higher was above the state’s percentage in Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) Progress Monitoring 3 in grades three, four and five; FAST Mathematics Progress Monitoring 3 in grades three, four, five and eight; Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.)
