Several home improvement and remodeling companies have filed for bankruptcy in recent months. The latest company to do so is Y & Q Home Plus LLC, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based business specializing in kitchen and bath remodeling and cabinetry.
Case filings show that the company faces a notable financial imbalance with liabilities outweighing its assets. The filing also lists unsecured claims from multiple creditors.

The company officially submitted its petition to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Case filings show that company president Yuquan Li signed the petition prior to filing by stating that the decision was in the “best interest” of Y & Q Home Plus LLC.
