A vegetation blaze near the Lake-Napa county line has grown to about 30 acres, prompting Cal Fire to expand its response as crews worked to slow the fire’s spread, fire officials said Monday morning.
The Head Fire was reported at 6:26 a.m. in the Devils Head area near Napa County’s unincorporated community of Knoxville, said Cal Fire. By 7:57 a.m., the fire had grown to approximately 30 acres.
