(KRON) — Firefighters in Napa are responding to a wildfire Monday morning. The blaze, which has been dubbed the Head Fire, was approaching Berryessa Knoxville Road as of 7:57 a.m.
Initial reports from CalFire put the fire at 30 acres. However, the fire has subsequently grown to 95 acres and is burning in steep terrain.

Suppression operations are underway from ground and air resources with 11 engines, seven water tenders, five hand crews, four dozers, one helicopter and multiple aircraft working the fire. Additional resources have been requested, CalFire said.
As of shortly after 12 p.m., the fire was at 20% containment, fire officials said. Firefighters were making progress constructing containment lines and mopping up.
