TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. – One of golf’s biggest prize tournaments is coming to St. Louis. On Monday, an event was held at Bellerive Country Club to preview the BMW Championship. The tournament is being held from August 18-23.
The best players on the PGA Tour will return to St. Louis for the tournament. It’s the first time in 18 years that the club will host the BMW, though Bellerive played host to the 2018 PGA Championship.
Since last hosting in 2008, the tournament’s second year in existence, it has become one of golf’s most notable events, featuring a $20 million purse. It’s also expected to bring in millions of dollars for the local and state economy…
