ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – An employee of the Central Visual and Performing Arts High School is in custody after a gun was found in their bag on school grounds on Thursday, officials said.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said that St. Louis Public Safety found the gun in the employee’s bag. The staff member was detained and relocated to the St. Louis Public Schools’ downtown main office.
Police were contacted, and officers seized the gun, according to SLMPD. The school district said no injuries were reported and officials confirmed there was no threat to the community…
