EUGENE, Ore. — Lane Transit District (LTD) will operate on its Sunday bus schedules on Independence Day, Saturday, July 4, 2026. The customer service centers in Eugene and Springfield will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On July 4, LTD will operate an express service for participants in the annual OTC Butte To Butte and for passengers traveling to 40th Ave. and Donald St.:
- Passengers will be picked up at 5th Ave. and Oak St.
- Buses will depart every 5 to 10 minutes from 6:25 a.m. to 7:50 a.m.
Runners need to plan ahead of time and anticipate delays in service to reach the starting line before the race begins. The pick-up and drop-off locations are at 5th and Oak to Donald and 40th, near the start of the race. All shuttle rides are free, courtesy of Oregon Track Club.
