TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) – The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) has made a move to make your holiday travels safer this holiday weekend.
ALDOT says it’s pausing construction on any roadwork connected to the state. That includes suspending temporary lane closures over the July 4 holiday weekend. The ‘pause’ starts early Friday morning, July 3 at 6 a.m. until just before midnight Sunday, July 5.
