BEAUFORT CO, Sc. (WTOC) – Beaufort County students interested in filmmaking and the creative arts will have the chance to explore those careers this summer through a free weeklong camp designed to build technical, leadership and workforce skills.
The Mony’s House Cinema Summer Camp will be held July 20-24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Port Royal Recreation Center. The camp is free and open to Beaufort County youth.
The program was created by the Great Grand Family Foundation in partnership with the family of Vermon “Mony” Steve to honor his legacy by introducing young people to careers in filmmaking, digital media and the creative arts.

Organizers say the camp also focuses on leadership, communication, entrepreneurship and other workforce skills that can prepare students for future careers…
