Johnston Street Drivers Should Prepare For Delays Through Much Of July

If your daily commute includes Johnston Street, prepare for traffic to move a little slower than usual over the next few weeks.

Lafayette Consolidated Government announced temporary lane closures will begin Tuesday, June 30, as crews begin collecting survey data for the future Johnston Street Segment 3 Improvement Project.

The work is expected to continue for approximately 10 to 15 working days, weather permitting, meaning drivers could see intermittent delays through much of July.
