In his 40-plus-year career, Jason Newsted has done nearly everything. But this month marks a first for the former Metallica bassist: his first-ever headlining national solo tour.
On Thursday, July 2, Newsted will be bringing his Chophouse Band to Empire Underground in Albany for the second night of his new tour. Newsted has played with a Who’s Who of hard rock and metal titans in addition to his time as a member of Metallica, from Flotsam and Jetsam to Ozzy Osbourne and Voivod.
