EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Business owners at a Columbia County shopping plaza are raising concerns about a proposal to build a gas station in the middle of their parking lot off Furys Ferry Road.
County documents show the proposal would add a 5,662-square-foot convenience store with six gas pumps in the Petersburg Shoppes parking lot off Furys Ferry Road.
Parking and safety concerns
Dink’d Pickleball, one of the plaza’s larger tenants, said parking is already limited during peak hours and tournaments.
