FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio — After three-quarters of a century, two generations of one family and countless bicycles repaired, restored and sent back out onto the streets of Fairview Park and Rocky River, Fairview Cycle will close its doors at the end of July.
The shop at 22230 Lorain Road has been a fixture in the Fairview Park community since 1950 — a span of time that has seen it outlast changing trends, big-box competition and the rise and fall of countless other small businesses along the same stretch of road.
