Former Huntington coach accused of dealing THC cartridges to students

HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A former assistant coach at Huntington North High School was preliminarily charged for her alleged role in supplying THC vape cartridges to students.

Taya Andrews was charged on June 23 with two counts of Dealing a Schedule I Controlled Substance, a level 5 felony, and one count of Conspiracy to Commit Dealing in a Schedule I Controlled Substance, a level 5 felony.

According to court documents obtained from the Huntington County Prosecutor’s Office, the investigation began after the Huntington County Sheriff’s Office was told that the mother of a Huntington North student had found a THC vaping device in her son’s possession…
