One person was shot and wounded in Hawthorne Tuesday, setting off a police investigation.
Officers with the Hawthorne Police Department responded along with Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies to a report of a shooting about 1:45 a.m. in the area of Marine Avenue and Kingsdale Avenue in Lawndale.
“Upon contacting the victim, investigators learned that the shooting had occurred near El Segundo Boulevard ad Doty Avenue in the city of Hawthorne,” according to a Hawthorne police statement…
