WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — As a major heat wave builds toward the holiday weekend, the staff at Colonial Williamsburg is finalizing preparations to keep visitors safe during an extra special Fourth of July marking America’s 250th anniversary.
Colonial Williamsburg is advertising that its nighttime show will feature the largest fireworks display in its history.
“We’re ready to rock and roll,” said Travis Brust, executive director of food and beverage for Colonial Williamsburg Resorts. “You know, we have this great plan put together. What we’re anticipating for the 4th of July is just an incredible showing of talent across the board, from our historic interpreters to food and beverage.
