‘Unwanted hug’ sparks dispute that ends in six shots; Palm Beach Gardens teen arrested

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (CBS12) — An argument sparked by an unwanted request for a hug ended with six shots fired, children scrambling for safety, and a Palm Beach Gardens teenager behind bars.

Officers with the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department say they responded to the complex near PGA Blvd. and I-95 around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday for reports of gunfire.
