Group proposes alternatives to toll lanes for I-77 South project

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The group Sustain Charlotte is behind a new report suggesting it will take more than adding lanes to I-77 South to ease congestion.

The study comes after representatives with the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization pulled support for a long-discussed toll lane project.
