CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A local nonprofit is distributing air conditioning units and fans to elderly community members in need as summer heat continues.
State Rep. Wendell Gilliard said Project Cool Breeze donated about 100 AC units and multiple fans during the first distribution of the year last weekend.
