Seoul of the South Food Tour Recap

Story and Photos by Francesca Augello and Tiffany Belflower

For the last 15 years, Explore Gwinnett has hosted a Seoul of the South Food Tour, introducing local residents to the authentic Korean eats located within northern Gwinnett County. As the Korean population within the Southeast continues to grow, so does the array of restaurants and businesses that give Americans a glimpse into the Korean lifestyle. The tour consisted of stops that included authentic soups and appetizers, Korean BBQ, coffee and Korean pastries, and staple snacks accompanied by karaoke. This year, Suwanee Magazine staff members Tiffany Belflower and Franki Augello attended the event, and had a great time learning, exploring, and eating their way through the Seoul of the South.
