Paris Richardson passes Miss Florida crown, Reece Weaver shows support

One year, 40,000 miles, more than 200 appearances and a memorable second runner-up finish at Miss America later, Jacksonville native Paris Richardson is saying goodbye to her year as Miss Florida.

As she officially passed the crown to her successor during the 90th Annual Miss Florida Scholarship Competition, Richardson reflected on the moments that meant the most. While her reign was filled with awards and accomplishments, she said the lasting impact came from the people she met across the state and the confidence she gained along the way, writing that, “Miss Florida truly gave me my voice.”

Now, a new Miss Florida is ready to carry the title forward, and so is Jacksonville’s Miss First Coast Teen crowned Miss Florida’s Teen 2026…
