CENTER POINT, Ala. (WBMA) — The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for much of central and west Alabama, including 20 counties, as conditions remain favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms.
The watch includes the following counties is set until 8:00 p.m.:

- Coosa
- Etowah
- Fayette
- Greene
- Hale
- Jefferson
- Marion
- Pickens
- Shelby
- St. Clair
- Talladega
- Tuscaloosa
- Walker
- Winston
