MACON COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – A death investigation is underway after a body was found Wednesday morning in Macon County, according to Sheriff Andre Brunson.
Brunson says the call came in around 10:30 a.m. after someone mowing a lawn found the body at County Road 40 and 1st Street in Shorter, just off Interstate 85 Exit 22.
The person’s identity has not been released, nor is a cause of death available…
