NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WGNS) – State troopers are calling on Rutherford County residents to help Tennessee bring home a national title. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is officially competing in the American Association of State Troopers thirteenth annual Best Looking Cruiser Contest.
This year, the state’s photo entry features a brand-new Chevy Tahoe trooper vehicle parked at Bald River Falls in the Cherokee National Forest. Local drivers see these same vehicles daily patrolling busy stretches of Interstate 24 and local state routes throughout Rutherford County.
The thirteen states that collect the most votes will earn a spot in the official 2027 calendar. The state that brings in the highest number of votes overall will take the coveted front cover spot.
