3-year-old dies after falling into pond in East Baton Rouge Tuesday, sheriff says

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Authorities responded to a drowning in Baton Rouge on Tuesday evening.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the 3400 block of Bluebonnet Boulevard around 8:17 p.m. after a three-year-old child reportedly slipped out of a door and fell into a nearby pond.
