Following a vote from the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO) on May 20, the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s (NCDOT) proposed I-77 expansion has been shut down.
After the majority of members voted no, the department decided to withdraw its support for the I-77 expansion.
