Here’s what to know before celebrating July 4th in Downtown Huntsville: Traffic impacts, times and more

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Officials with the City of Huntsville and the Huntsville Salutes America’s 250th Committee have provided some important information and tips to help prepare you for a fun, hot and safe July 4th.

Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy festivities to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday in Big Spring Park. The festivities begin at 4 p.m. and will end with the America Eras Parade and a fireworks spectacular!

In addition to activities, guests are welcome to bring coolers, snacks, blankets, and lawn chairs to enjoy the festivities throughout the evening. Also, all city-owned parking garages and on-street parking spaces will be free…
